From a single charger to 1,000+ charging stations, patented dynamic phase and load balancing makes the most of your available power. Supplied with the Zaptec Pro Backplate required for installation.

- 1 × Zaptec Pro Backplate (Zaptec part ZM000438) per unit ordered – required for every Zaptec Pro installation, wall or post mounted
Backplate details: galvanised steel panel, powder-coated black (RAL 9017); ASA+PC junction box; 20mm cable inlet for 2.5–10mm² cable; cable seals supplied (Ø14mm, Ø8mm and blanking plug); 4 × Ø5mm wall fixing holes.
Compatibility
- Works with any electric vehicle.
- Up to 22kW on suitable three-phase TN supplies; also suitable for single-phase supplies (up to 7.4kW).
- Load and phase balancing works across multiple Zaptec Pro chargers on the same installation.
- Backplates allow electrical work to be completed separately from fitting the charger, so sites can be prepared for future chargers.
- Compatible with Zaptec Sense and other Zaptec Pro accessories (sold separately).
- Must be installed by a qualified electrician in line with current UK wiring regulations.
Warranty / guarantee
The Zaptec Pro charging station comes with a 5-year Zaptec guarantee. The backplate is a Zaptec accessory and is covered by Zaptec's accessories guarantee, which varies by product. Read the Zaptec guarantee terms.

Yes. Every Zaptec Pro unit is supplied with its backplate, which is required for installation.
How many chargers can I connect?
Zaptec Pro scales from a single charger to 1,000+ charging stations, all managed through the Zaptec Portal.
What is load and phase balancing?
Available power is shared automatically between chargers and phases, so more vehicles can charge without overloading your supply.
Can I bill individual users?
Yes. MID-certified metering records accurate consumption per charger, and the Zaptec Portal provides charge reports per user.
Can I buy in bulk?
